2000 and 2001 Game Boy Color Releases Include Star Wars®: Obi-Wan’s Adventures™ and Indiana Jones® and the Infernal Machine™


CALABASAS HILLS, Calif., September 5, 2000 - THQ Inc. (NASDAQ NMS: THQI) and LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC today announced a worldwide agreement providing THQ the rights to publish Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance Games based on LucasArts’ popular Star Wars® and Indiana Jones® properties. The first two Game Boy Color titles anticipated for release under the new agreement include Obi-Wan’s Adventures in fall 2000 and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine in spring 2001.

The deal also grants THQ the rights to develop and publish four additional LucasArts properties for Game Boy Advance. Obi-Wan’s Adventures and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine are being developed by LucasArts and will be distributed and published worldwide by THQ.
